Types of Fire Tanker Trucks

Osco has three models of the fire tanker truck. We have the Dominator Series which lasts and impresses. The Commander Series which gets the job done while keeping the operator in mind. Finally, the Fusion Vacuum Truck which can be used for water collection. Each model serves a different need for your department, and you can choose between the models to find the best fit for your department. Let’s learn a little bit more about each one first.

Dominator Series trucks are custom built with Poly tanks and Poly bodies with a lifetime warranty. The Dominator can be built in an elliptical (oval) shape or in a rectangular “wetside” style. At Osco Tank & Truck Sales, we take pride in knowing that we help our customers by supplying them with high quality fire tanker truck at a reasonable price. The Dominator Series units are completely custom and built to the customer’s specifications. From conception to completion, we work with our customers so that they have a say in every step of the build process. This makes sure that you’re getting exactly what you need for your department.

Our Dominator fire tanker truck is long lasting. These units use the chassis of your choice. We offer Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, and Mack chassis. We can mount the unit on a refurbished used chassis of your choice or a customer supplied chassis. Osco’s Dominator tankers Out-Perform, Out-Last, and Out-Look the competition.

Commander Series

Commander Fire Apparatus Series SideThe Commander Series includes all the custom options of any Osco truck, and it comes at a better price. Osco builds each Commander Series fire tanker to perform under all conditions and fits each with either an economical, budget-minded stainless steel tank or a lifetime warranty poly tank. Commander series fire tankers come with a sight gauge, 20″ man way, threaded NPT openings, back welding, and mild steel skid. The Commander series also includes liquid foam tenders. These each hold up to 5,000 gallons of liquid foam.

Commander series fire tankers can be customized with Epoxy coating, extra baffling, stainless steel Hose tray, and 9″ X 7″ Halogen scene lights. They can also be outfitted with stainless steel SDTR, stainless steel catwalks, or 10″ dump valve. Stainless steel skid, stainless steel storage compartments, and stainless steel rear step bumper/hose tray are other options. Pump options are also endless.

Fusion Vacuum Truck

Our Fusion Vacuum Trucks have many features like stainless steel, aluminum, or mild steel tanks, up to 4000 Gallon Capacities, stainless steel or aluminum bodies, and are always custom built to customer’s specs. Our Fusion Series Vacuum tanker truck units offer customers the ability to move enormous amounts of water with great ease and speed. Self-filling at rates up to 2000 GPM, the Fusion Series tankers just took water shuttles to a whole new level.

This unique and powerful option for departments allows them to get water from multiple sources (ponds, creeks, lakes, pools, etc.). These units have the chassis of your choice. We offer Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, and Mack chassis. We can also mount a Fusion Series unit on a refurbished used chassis or a customer-supplied chassis. With the Fusion Series Vacuum units, getting water quickly is no longer a problem!
