Company Overview

Equilon Enterprises LLC is an oil refiner and marketer who does business as Shell Oil. Equilon, and its sister company Motiva, have the USA covered when it comes to crude oil pipelines and marketing petroleum products. It offers refining, marketing, and transportation services for gasoline and other petroleum products. Additionally, it operates a network of gasoline stations in the United States. Ultimately, the company has three crude oil refineries and operates lubricant plants, pipelines, and terminal systems around the United States.

Why A Poly Elliptical Foam Tanker?

Although they do not happen often, oil refinery explosions can occur. Refinery companies must be prepared for anything in order to prevent the devastating consequences. Poly Elliptical Foam Tankers can prevent damages from worsening due to foam concentrate properties and the large tender tanks available. In this case, a 4,000 gallon tank can hold a significant amount of foam. In fact, fire-protection systems in hazardous areas of the oil and gas industry require unique extinguishing systems; foam is considered the best extinguishing agent for liquid fires. The use of water trucks can be important as well for cooling the tank wall and adjacent tanks. However, foam tankers are extremely important in preventing and/or fighting oil refinery accidents.
