Osco Tank & Truck Sales is heading to Cat Spring, Texas. Our dominator delivery is on its way to help this volunteer fire department with all of its fire prevention and safety needs. Cat Spring, Texas is located about an hour west of Houston just off I-10, and about an hour and a half drive to Austin. This unique, historical town has a lot to offer the history buff as it is one of the first German/American settlements in Texas.
The Cat Spring Volunteer Fire Department is made up entirely of volunteers. It consists of 48 firefighters and 5 non-firefighting personnel, including Fire Chief, Randy Reichardt. Every year, this fire department partakes in community events such as the VFD BBQ. Typically, this event includes a live auction, music, kids activities, a gun raffle, and of course great food!
Dominator Delivery
Osco is proud to service this volunteer fire department with a 2021 dominator delivery. This particular series is a 2021 Freightliner truck that includes a Cummins L9 350 Hp engine. In addition, the poly tank can hold over 2100 gallons and its Hale Cross Mount pump can extract at 1000 gallons per minute. Here is a breakdown of the specifics:
